Pressbooks wont let me download as a pdf
You may have a better chance if the PDF that is downloading is of bigger size. However, if this does not work, you can try to recreate the profile user data folder for your profile in Edge.
Close all Edge Browser windows. Under User Data folder, rename the folder Default to Default. Restart Edge and it should ask you to login to your profile. Was this reply helpful? I don't recommend turning SmartScreen off completely because it is helpful in preventing you from downloading a malicious file or app, but you can disable it in Microsoft's Edge browser if you want to override its protection and go ahead and download a file it doesn't recognize. You can disable SmartScreen in the Windows Defender Security Center app in total or just for Edge, but for the latter it's faster to do so right within Edge itself, particularly if you are already using Edge.
Here's how to toggle SmartScreen off and on in Edge:. So Safari thinks they are. The site that I'm getting them from, states that they are. This used to work in Safari, from the exact same sites I'm now having the issue with. I can Export as PDF Which is my current workaround. But this isn't a great option, since it won't auto increments the file name, as Safari would normally do when you click the Download icon when viewing the PDF.
I generally don't open PDF's as I wind up saving them anyway. It may be specific to the systems the sites you are using use -- packaged software set up for certain security checks. Mar 3, AM. Take care! QB user on Windows None of these steps fixed the issue in QB. I found that a workaround that I hope will help others. Only then could I save my invoice as a PDF.
